For weeks, rumors have been flying that music legend Mariah Carey has pulled her diva card and began a feud with rap’s rising queen Nicki Minaj after it was revealed that the Pink Friday emcee would co-host “American Idol” with Carey. But, Carey has finally spoken out about the rumors and says they’re not true.
While on the “Idol” set with her fellow judges, Randy Jackson, Keith Urban and Minaj, Carey spoke with MTV News about the rumors and laughed off claims that she and Minaj are at odds.
“How are we gonna feud in two days? A feud takes a little longer to spread out [than that],” Mariah responded, laughing.
“It’s fun, it’s music, it’s singing, it’s laughter,” she added, while Minaj chuckled, looking amused at the beef rumors.
