Gabrielle Union walked the red carpet at the premiere of “Being Mary Jane” at the Urbanworld Film Festival in New York. Union was joined on the red carpet by the creator and director of “Being Mary Jane” Mara Brock Akil and her husband Salim Akil, Tika Sumpter, and BET’s Debra Lee.
The film, which will debut on BET in the fall, tells the story of a successful woman, Union, who has difficulties with her love life and with family.
