Mariah Carey Takes High Road
After the first week on the set of “American Idol” with Nicki Minaj, it seems that Mariah Carey has decided to wear her big girl panties and is taking the high road. She tells reporters that it’s going to be “an experience.”
Minaj, who was 45-minutes late to a taping this week, was seemingly slighted by Carey when offering her opinion to a contestant. Unfazed by the dis, Minaj over talked Carey and was able to get her point-of-view across.
Without denying there’s tension, Carey talks to Hollywood Reporter about working with Minaj, “You know what, I think the whole thing is gonna be an experience that unfolds each day. But it’s cool.” Carey added, “I’m glad to be there.” –yvette caslin
