Many teachers and parents worked very had to show their support for students. Children walked the picket line valuable lessons on social change. Nonviolent protest is part of America’s method of honoring the rights of our citizens. We must make sure children are involved in protecting their future.
Each face of the children’s protest moves children‘s history forward. The focus on children’s issues is very complicated. Many children learn about changes by being involved. America is changing faster than teacher’s contracts and technology. Agreement seems so temporary when the educational debate changes with each federal administration and eroding tax bases.
Look into the eyes of the future and allow yourself to know that our future presidents and CEOs are staring back at you.
