For the second time in recent memory, Victoria’s Secret has landed in hot water over its lingerie marketing.
The company rolled out its “Sexy Little Geisha” lingerie line with the following description:
“Your ticket to an exotic adventure: a sexy mesh teddy with flirty cutouts and Eastern-inspired florals. Sexy little fantasies, there’s one for every sexy you. Indulge in touches of Eastern delight.”
The ad, which does not feature Asian women by the way, sent the blogosphere into an uproar.
Victoria’s Secret removed the lingerie from its website.
