Jerry Sandusky Sentencing 

Former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, 68, will spend the rest of his life behind bars now that he’s been sentenced to 30 to 60 tears for abusing 10 boys he met through his charity for troubled children. Sandusly was found guilty of more than 40 counts of sex abuse.

As previously reported, the man who was once revered for his Second Mile charitable organization was exposed as a slimy sexual predator this summer during a trial that included testimony from eight of his victims. The abuse of two other victims was shared by other witnesse,s including another former coach. Sandusky was found guilty of showering with, fondling, and forcing anal and oral sex on his victims.


Just before today’s sentencing, Sandusky spoke with the Penn State student radio station and insisted that he “didn’t do these alleged disgusting acts.” Furthermore Sandusky said that he had “hope in his heart for a brighter day, not knowing when that day will come.”

“They could treat me as a monster, but they can’t take away my heart,” he added.
