Rihanna will confirm that she has gotten back together with Chris Brown on her upcoming album, Unapologetic. Her mentor and boss, Jay-Z, doesn’t approve, but he won’t stand in the way. However, he had choice words for the volatile R&B bad boy.
Proof that they have reconciled has been popping up all over the place, including them photographed being hugged up in the VIP section of the Jay-Z concert at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and then the rumors increased when Breezy officially broke it off with Karrueche Tran and blamed it on his friendship with RiRi.
Now, perezhilton.com sources close to the pair have revealed that we shouldn’t expect to hear it directly from them until next month…after the pop singer releases her upcoming album, Unapologetic, on Nov. 19.
“She’s hitting the studio real hard these days, but [talks] to Chris every step of the way. As soon as she finishes up with this album, they will be out. She'[s] gotta focus and get that album together and stay paid.”
At the Jay-Z concert though, Chris was given some sobering counsel from the rapper mogul. Jay-Z had invited them to the concert as a couple and is willing to give Chris a second chance. However, Jay-Z told Brown he would “finish him” if he ever hurts Rihanna again, according to popcrush.com.
“Jay-Z told Rihanna that if Chris is truly making her happy then to go for it,” a source said. “He invited them as a couple to his concert in New York and backstage he called Chris to one side and told him if he hurts Rihanna, whether emotionally or physically, it’s over for him. He’ll ensure it will result in the end of his career.”
They’ve tested the waters and it seems favorable for them to go ahead and make it official. Even Oprah Winfrey said she won’t cast aspersions at Rihanna if she went ahead and did what her mother and father seem to want to happen anyhow — settle down with Brown.
