What does President Obama listen to when he hooks up the earphones and tunes out the world for a brief spell?
Obama ran through his musical tastes Monday during an interview on Cincinnati radio station WIZF. The list is eclectic and all-encompassing and reflects the varied coalition of voters he is seeking to attract. Not surprisingly, the commander in chief’s musical menu consists of artists who sing about social upliftment, fighting for justice, self-love and smashing the status quo.
If this was strictly a political ploy, then the president slipped because he did not mention living legend Bruce Springsteen, aka The Boss, who is actively campaigning for him.
