Being a “rap wife” means several things; being under the harsh scrutiny of the media, fending off lusty female fans and days apart from your beau while he travels or spends hours in the studio. For some, it’s the glamorous life they’ve always dreamed of, but for others it can be more than they bargained for. And while some rappers look to female celebs to be their leading ladies, Jay-Z, Nelly and T.I. for example, others are content with regular everyday women who are up to the challenge of being the apple of an emcee’s eye.
