Genia Clash, 51, is a Maryland native who graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, with a bachelor’s degree in science.
Genia, who also holds a certificate in meeting planning from Goucher College, is currently an event planer at the Starlight corporation.
Genia and Kevin reportedly married and welcomed their their daughter Shannon Elise Clash in 1992. The couple divorced in 2003.
As it stands now, it is unknown when or if Kevin Clash will return to his Elmo duties on Sesame Street.
