We’re only three episodes into the fifth season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but the season is already off to a big bang and it’s primarily thanks to the series newcomer, Kenya Moore.
The former Miss U.S.A. has already been involved in major beefs with Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Stewart-Williams, and by seasons end she’ll supposedly have beefed with several more.
However, in an interview with Essence, Moore opens up about her beefs and explains that she may be having a change of heart about her “RHOA” enemies.
“Cynthia is more like me than I ever would have thought,” said Moore. “This is what I will always say: I really appreciate a working woman who wants to have something for herself.”
“Regardless of how I feel about Cynthia as a person, I respect the fact that she is a businesswoman, and she’s using her platform in a great way. She’s helping other young black girls, and I think that’s a beautiful thing,” she added.
Moore claims that part of the reason for all of the drama is that she didn’t properly prepare herself for the show.
“I didn’t prepare myself, and that’s the problem,” Moore said. “I thought I would come to the tapings, and [the producers] would come to my house, and we would have a couple of scenes with the girls, and we would get together, and it would be a kumbaya moment. That is not what it was.”
However, that’s not all that Moore had to say about her cast mates. Find out her opinion on each of the other “RHOA” ladies after the cut. – nicholas robinson
