Pastor Sheryl Brady of the Potter's House shares faith and self-discovery in new book

Name: Sheryl Brady, Pastor of The Potter’s House North Dallas

Please tell us about your book, You Have It In You! Empowered to do the Impossible.
You Have It in You! asks, ‘Do you know what you’re made of? More importantly, do you want to discover the strengths lying dormant inside of you?’ My hope is that every person who gets the chance to read this book will be inspired to view challenges as opportunities for self-discovery and faith enrichment.

By sharing my personal story as well as exploring the lives of the Bible’s most remarkable characters, we can learn how to dig deep within ourselves and find the strength to overcome and succeed in any situation.

How can this book help others cope with their personal struggles and life journeys?
Looking back over my past, based on my circumstances and life-altering challenges, I see how my life really could have turned out differently.

I thought there might be somebody else out there who, after reading this book, realizes their life can take a different path. You are not too old or too uneducated. There are no true ‘dead ends’. If you will just look inside of you, there is a hidden treasure that can open up brand new worlds of possibilities.

Who can benefit from reading this book?
The book is for people who are looking to find out what they were sent to earth to do, or what they feel their purpose or destiny is. It’s not just a woman’s book or just a man’s book. It’s for anyone who feels like they were born for more and they want to understand how to get it.

What would we find in your kindle?
Undaunted by Christine Caine

Name three books that you would advise those in need of spiritual healing to read?
Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and
Who Switched off My Brain by Dr. Caroline Leaf
Let It Go by Bishop T. D. Jakes
What piece of spiritual advice can you give others that has helped you throughout life?
Trust God in His Sovereignty. There is a rest that belongs to the people of God. I’m not talking about resting as in “inactive”, but resting in the fact that what God has for you is for you!
