Brittni Glass has confirmed that she was with Jovan Belcher the night before he killed his girlfriend and then shot himself.

“I was with him that night, that’s it,” Glass told reporters.

Belcher and Glass were together on a date and he drove her home. At 2:30 a.m., police spotted Belcher outside of Glass’ home asleep in the car. The police dash cam recorded the cops’ conversation with Belcher when they approached the Bentley for a welfare check:

Officers: “Your car is running and you are passed out inside of it,” an officer told Belcher.

“You live right here? You just need to go upstairs. Okay? That’s going to be your best bet,”said one of the officers to Belcher.  … “You know you’ve got a lot to lose, right?”

Belcher:  “Y’all don’t understand that. I got a deal with another girl, man.”

The officers instructed Belcher to go inside to his girlfriend’s apartment and that they would roll up the window of the Bentley for him. Belcher went inside of Glass’ building.

Hours later, the 911 call was placed by Belcher’s distraught mother, Cheryl Shepherd:

“Kasandra, stay with me! The ambulance is on the way. You hear me? You hear me? Kasandra! Stay with me!”

“She’s barely moving,” Shepherd said.  “Please hurry. I don’t know how many times he shot her. They had been arguing.”

Jovan Belcher shot Kasandra Perkins nine times before driving to the parking lot of the Arrowhead training facility a few minutes later and taking his own life.

Perkins confessed to Chiefs General Manager Scott Pioli: “I did it I killed her.”
