Belcher’s eulogy will not only read that he leaves a daughter and mother to mourn his passing, but at least one mistress whom he was with less than two hours before the tragic murder-suicide. But while sex and violence are essentially occupational hazards for professional athletes, football players in particular, the proliferation of homicides whether by gun or by car, has spiraled out of control, and leaving in its wake a host of catastrophic consequences.
