Rod Edmond honored at Men of Power and Influence Awards in Atlanta

Roderick “Rod” Edmond, M.D., J.D. was among a host of  award recipients  who were honored for “their achievements and for utilizing their reach and resources to edify those whose lives they touch,” says Munson Steed, CEO/Publisher rolling out magazine, at the Men of Power and Influence Awards sponsored by Ford.

Edmond is the founding and managing partner of the law firm Edmond & Lindsay, LLP., which has successfully litigated numerous personal injury case resulting in approximately $100 million in damages recovered for his clients. Dr. Edmond received a B.S. in biology (cum laude) in 1983 from Morehouse College, his medical degree from Duke University (Durham, NC) in 1987 and did post-graduate training in general surgery at Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He served five years as a physician and a captain in the United States Army. Dr. Edmond served as the Brigade Surgeon in the Republic of Korea. While practicing medicine at the Pentagon, he attended law school at night and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from Georgetown University.
