Karrueche Tran v.s. Rihanna
In March Rihanna and Karrueche Tran got into a war of words online after the songstress posted a picture online reportedly containing a racial slur. Rihanna, who had recently landed a remix of her hit “Cake” with Chris Brown, took to Twitter to share a picture of a bag of rice cakes dressed in sunglasses and hoop earrings. “Ima make you my b—-,” the songstress captioned the photo. Many believed that the photo was a thinly veiled diss to Tran who is of Black and Vietnamese descent. Rice cake is considered a racial slur to people of Tran’s heritage. The diss was the second time Rihanna had made reference to a rice cake; in her track with Brown she remarked that she was “sweeter than a rice cake.”
Obviously offended by Rihanna’s words, Tran reportedly took to Facebook to fire back. “I’m Angelina, You’re Jen. C’mon you see where Brad is at,” wrote Tran citing the lyrics to Nicki Minaj’s “Stupid Hoe.”
Tran would later claim that she did not have Facebook page but wrote on Twitter that she would “no longer be bullied.”
