Chris Brown: 'After my next album I want to leave this planet'

If any artist knows the difficulties of life in the limelight, it’s Chris Brown, who’s been music’s biggest bad boy and a media target ever since his 2009 assault on Rihanna. And though his public ridicule may not have been enough to persuade him to leave music behind, one thing that may just prove too tough for him handle is industry politics. According to the young star, he may just leave the industry and planet Earth behind after his next album.

According to Rap-Up, Brown took to Instagram this weekend to vent his frustrations about the industry and its lack of “real artists.”

“Real artist are an endangered species! This gimmick age is f—– corny as f—!” wrote an angry Brown.

Breezy then explained that after his next album, Carpe Diem, which is set for a 2013 release, he plans to find solace in another world.

“After this album I wanna leave this planet,” he wrote.

“Be you but f—— get credit for the work u do. Not becuz someone cosigns who knows absolutely nothing about music and culture!” Brown added.

It’s unclear what prompted Brown’s angry rant, but  he quickly deleted his post afterwards.

Well, considering Brown’s love for living his (love) life in the public eye, we doubt that he’ll actually leave music. But he’s not the only celeb who’s threatened to leave the industry behind. Check out some other stars that have threatened to retire below. – nicholas robinson
