“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-stars Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore didn’t get along at all at the top of the season, but as of Sunday night’s episode the feuding women seem to be on the road to repair. But in a new interview Bailey admits that she and Moore are still not close, and that se even feels sorry for her.
During a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Bailey explained that she doesn’t regret having fought with Moore over the Jet casting call and that she’s over their spats.
“I’m a closure girl. I definitely needed to get that off my chest,” said Bailey, referring to their recent confrontation in Anguilla. However, Bailey claims that Moore’s behavior during the Anguilla trip was, well, disappointing.
“Kenya gave me the book to be mean-spirited and I think that’s just unfortunate,” Bailey said. We’re sitting up there having a beautiful lunch. All of this was put together because of Peter [Thomas] and I. I thought it was inappropriate.”
But, despite their frequent friction, Bailey says that she’s not angry with Moore and that she actually feels sorry for her.
“I just feel sorry for her in a way. She’s not really all that bad, but she just kinda… I don’t know. My whole thing is: If she’s nice to me. I’m nice to her,” said Bailey. “I try not to pay Kenya too much attention. Her issues have nothing to do with me. I try to take the high road.”
Considering that Moore’s ex-boyfriend, Walter Jackson, recently crippled Moore’s image by revealing that their onscreen relationship was a lie, we assume that most people either feel sorry for her too or just plain irritated by her behavior.
