The OF Tape Vol. 2 by Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All

Tyler, the Creator and Co. have honed their approach over years of solid mixtapes and this, their first “official” release, features more of what makes them engaging to some and repulsive to others. Absurdly misogynistic lyrics and cartoonishly violent imagery backed by spooky keys and synths and lo-fi bass and drums, the album features a collective that seems to be more focused than they had been previously. Every rhymer in the crew comes correct on this one. And they don’t care about your retro-fetish and rose-colored nostalgia.
