Roy Ayers, backed by the legendary Chicago jazz musician Kahil El ‘Zabar and his quintet, was a show that was one for the history books.
Chicago showed up in numbers to support Roy Ayers at his recent concert at The Shrine Chicago. The crowd packed the room and swayed and rocked to tunes played and sung by the legendary Roy Ayers. Some of Chicago’s elite who showed up includes; Anita on The B Side, George Daniels, CEO of Enemy Books Gina Barge, renowned DJ Lee Farmer, spoken word artist Shanara Mouth Peace and others.
