Kanye West just announced Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy  to a crowd of fans at a concert at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City and there hasn’t been this much excitement since, well, the birth of Blue Ivy. Will Kanye and Kim dethrone Jay-Z and Bey as Hip Hop’s hottest couple?

Baby bump watchers have wondered what was going on with Kim Kardashian’s recent weight gain, and now it’s official, the New York Daily News just reported that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expecting.

Rumors of the couple’s status was fueled around Christmas time when Kanye West was absent on the Kardashian holiday greeting card.

Also, haters have pointed out that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality show needed some new juice if it was going to be a ratings winner, and the announcement of the new baby will indeed bring on a new angle for the show.

So, now will Blue Ivy have competition for the hip hop baby throne? Only time will tell.
