 Inauguration Parade

One of the greatest American traditions is honoring the newly sworn-in president and vice president with a parade. This event will include a 1.2 mile long procession of military regiments, citizens’ groups, marching bands and floats. The inauguration parade is open to the public and will also be televised.


Located: Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, D.C.  Viewing stands and bleachers will extend from Third to 17th street.

FREE and open to the public.
