Christie’s Cabaret stripper Lauren Block, 22, was performing a lap dance Jan. 3 when she tumbled over the second-story railing of the Ohio club face first.
Block’s lap dance client Pasquale Storino, 25, told police that she “she tried to complete some sort of dance jump or dance move,” and then fell.
Patrons of the club initially reported that Block laid still, covered in blood, immediately after the accident, but she clung to life as she was whisked away to the Metro Health Medical Center.
Late Wednesday doctors reported that Block had succumbed to severe head and neck injuries that she suffered during the accident. In a released statement, Block’s family said that the young woman was an organ donor “and we hope this will enable her to save many lives and live on through others.”
