Blue Ivy
Beyoncé ’s 2011 album 4 was somewhat lagging commercially when it was initially released. That is, until the star announced that she was expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z at that year’s MTV Video Music Awards. Knowles’ announcement resulted in an increase in sales of all of her records, especially 4, which had sold around 700,000 copies by August 2011. The album has since sold 1.3 million copies in the US and has been certified platinum by the RIAA.
