Big Daddy Kane praises Jay-Z: The 10 greatest rappers from Brooklyn

Before Jay and after Kane, there was Christopher Wallace. Repping Bed-Stuy and technically born right at the edge of Clinton Hill, Biggie was a Brooklyn icon. His 1997 murder was a tragedy, but seeing the people of Brooklyn lining the streets to pay tribute to him as the funeral procession passed was a farewell fit for a king.
