GZA
Often cited as arguably the Wu-Tang Clan’s most underrated lyricist, GZA aka Genius, like ODB, was a Brooklyn native — despite the group’s well-known affiliation with Staten Island. Before the formation of the Wu, the two of them would perform in local block parties. Bringing it full circle, GZA performed his classic Liquid Swords album in its entirety at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in 2012.
