J.R. Smith disses Kris Humphries
New York Knick J.R. Smith caused a ruckus on Twitter Tuesday when fans noted that the baller had a brief war of words with Brooklyn Nets power forward Kris Humphries. Humpries, who’s been in headlines for his ongoing divorce from Kim Kardashian, celebrated a win this week over Smith and his opposing team and marked the moment on social media. “Big game tonight! The Garden got really quiet on the way out!” wrote Humphries.

The tweet quickly gained popularity on Twitter and garnered more than 900 retweets in two hours. Unfortunately for Humphries, however, the popular comment wasn’t missed by Smith, who then issued a “lay-up” in the form of a damning response. “Wasn’t quiet when Kanye tore it down last month!” wrote the Knicks star.

Smith was referencing Kim Kardashian, who is still legally married to the Brooklyn baller but currently pregnant by her boyfriend, Kanye West. And before this latest jab from Smith, Kanye dissed Humphries himself in his track “Theraflu; “Lucky I ain’t had Jay [Jay-z] drop him from the team” rapped Kim’s main squeeze.
And although it’s been hours since Smith made his caustic remark Humphries, fans of both are still buzzing about it on Twitter.
