Kwame Harris news triggers Twitter reactions
After news broke that former San Francisco 49er Kwame Harris was arrested for a soy sauce and underwear fueled assault, social media lit up with reactions. As previously reported, the offensive tackle made a court appearance Monday, Jan. 28 to face accusations that he brutally beat his ex-boyfriend after an August dinner date went awry. Harris, 6-foot-7 and 322 pounds, was accused of pinning his ex, Dimitri Geier, 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, against a plate glass window and striking him several times in the face and head. Prosecutors said that Geier suffered compound facial fractures that required surgery and the insertion of a metal plate after the attack due in part to Geier pouring soy sauce on a plate of Harris’ rice. Harris would later accuse him of stealing underwear and attempt to pull down his pants before the attack.
And while the bizarre story continues making waves on the Web, Twitter users are still firing off their opinions on the situation.
“If Mike Nolan only realized it took soy sauce and underwear to bring out the toughness inside Kwame Harris,” wrote a San Francisco 49ers fan account. Nolan coached the team during the time Harris was playing.
