So many of music’s biggest names seemed to treat education as an afterthought. As they pursued their careers, legends from every genre and generation — from Elvis Presley to Jimi Hendrix to Tupac Shakur — were high school dropouts. But there are also several major musicians who attended colleges and pursued traditional degrees prior to becoming superstars.
And many artists that would go on to win Grammy awards spent time in institutions of higher learning — going for degrees in everything from business management to psychology.
