Cash Money Records celebrates success
When they became prominent in the ’90s, Cash Money Records didn’t seem to have the wherewithal to last long in the music industry. They came up in an era where independent rap labels did well for a few years and eventually faded away (i.e. No Limit Records, Death Row). But nearly 20 years later, Cash Money is home to three of the biggest stars in music (Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj). They celebrated their success with an extravagant party on the night before the Grammy Awards.
