During New York Fashion Week Nigerian designer Duro Olowu had a preview party of his line that is headed to JCPenney next month. The collection i’s full of vibrant prints, textures and colors with an array of household goods, purses, shoes, luggage and more. A party for the collection was held at Stone Rose Lounge in Manhattan where lots of people came out to support him and check out the collection that was displayed throughout the venue. Guests walked away with Duro’s signature print umbrellas and notepads. People spotted in the crowd included Bethann Hardison, Miss J, chef Marcus Samuelsson and a host of others.
