Good, the star of the new NBC prime time hit “Deception,” and Franklin, the Hollywood executive who helped produce such hits as Sparkle and Karate Kid, were joined Stellar award-winning artist Bishop Paul S. Morton and his wife, Pastor Debra Morton as TV One’s “Love Addiction” host Dr. Alduan Tartt moderated the discourse inside a packed auditorium.
Paying homage to Black History Month, Walmart is hosting four historical events featuring modern day African-American heroes and high-profiled celebrities who will share their secret to success with Walmart associates and community members.
The final event, “Sports Legends: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” will be powered by boxing legend Ray Jones Jr. and sports pioneers Bill Lester of NASCAR and golf phenom Ginger Howard and takes place Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Orlando, Fla.
A special presentation will feature actor Chadwick Boseman, who portrays the legendary baseball great Jackie Robinson in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ highly anticipated drama “42,” introducing an exclusive trailer of the film and share his experience playing this American legend who broke racial barriers some 60 years ago.
