Random shots at old friends?
Back in 2011, Lupe raised a few eyebrows when he seemed the throw subtle jabs at Kanye and his Watch the Throne collaborator Jay-Z, during a freestyle. “When you’re done Watching The Throne, turn around and watch me.” In February 2013, Kanye apparently didn’t like Jay’s recent collaboration with Justin Timberlake, quipping during a show that “I got nothing but love for Hov, but I ain’t … with that ‘Suit and Tie.’”
