Interestingly enough, the couple will get married over the Yom Kipper weekend, a major Jewish holiday where practitioners fast for 24 hours and spent the bulk of that time in worship. Despite the fact that James has friends who are Jewish, no word whether the couple will participate in the observance.
The announcement comes on the heels of speculation that the couple had broken up or their relationship was in disrepair. Rumors of trouble raged when Brinson chose not to appear at the Miami Heat celebratory visit to the White House as well as the NBA All-star Weekend in Houston in February.
Good to see that the doubters were wrong.
