As psychedelic as Led Zeppelin and as conceptual as The Who, Funkadelic was the more rock-oriented arm of George Clinton’s P-Funk empire. Their early work stands as some of the most blistering and visionary music of its era, and late guitarist Eddie Hazel has been heralded as a genius of the instrument.
