Celebrity wives who are submissive to their husbandsSalt from Salt-N-Pepa: Cheryl “Salt” James told People magazine that since she left Salt-N-Pepa in 2001, she had been mainly a stay-at-home wife who was learning how to be “be a better wife, a better mother, a better person and laying a foundation for my children.” The legendary emcee created a small stir at the National Action Network several years ago when she told a crowd most populated with young girls that her man was the head of her household unequivocally, inciting a few catcalls and boos.
