Addiction and artistry: 10 stars lost to drugs.

Ol’ Dirty Bastard

The wild man of the Wu-Tang Clan battled with addiction throughout his time in the public eye, which added to his notorious image. In 1999, he was arrested for possession of crack. He died of a drug overdose two days before his 36th birthday from what was determined to be a mixture of cocaine and the prescription drug tramadol.
