Fans of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” learned last year that Deb Antney, Waka Flocka Flame’s mother, is a ferocious woman when it comes to business, and rising hip-hop star French Montana is now getting a taste of her wrath. A new report claims that Antney, who previously managed Montana, is suing her former client, saying that he made several profitable deals behind her back.
According to TMZ, Antney, who runs Atlanta’s Mizay Entertainment management company, signed Montana to an exclusive management contract in 2010, and Montana sang her praises to the press when he first signed with her company.
Despite their good start, Antney claims in her lawsuit that things quickly went downhill between her and Montana and she says that he secured several concert appearance without her knowledge and cheated her out of her 20 percent management fee.
Antney is now seeking at least $50,000 in unspecified damages.
