The all-new 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid XLE Sport has made its splash this year, and is expected to excite drivers just as much as it did audiences at some of the largest annual auto shows — where it made its debuts around the country.  The Avalon has seen some dramatic restyling, and upgrades that now make it the king of the midsize luxury car market. In size and class, the Avalon has be compared to the Buick Lacrosse, but that is where the similarities begin and end; the Avalon has gone through a revamp of its interior with luxury appointments being added to the extent that you will be quickly reminded that this company owns another very well-known luxury brand (by the name of Lexus).

The Avalon has come a long way in performance as well; with the Hybrid chalking up 40 miles per gallon in city driving and 39 miles per gallon on the highway.  Remembering that this a midsize luxury car makes it clear that these are rather impressive numbers. Even more impressive is the fact that Toyota did not scale back on interior creature comforts to get to this low level of fuel consumption.  The interior of the car lets you know right away that you are inside of a well-heeled machine;  with leather appointments and beautiful wood grains, the car’s salon impresses the most astute car enthusiast and the most pampered pet.

With power moon roof, heated leather seats, a high-tech touch screen information and entertainment center and a ride that rivals any luxury brand; this ride is sure to spoil you for the rest of the automotive world.  And, to keep you safe while your snug as a bug inside, Toyota has incorporated extensive safety measures — including a 10-point airbag system.
