Celebrity chefs are getting paid big bucks to do what they love.
It’s no surprise that chef Gordon Ramsay is the highest paid celebrity chef. Ramsay is the host of “Hell’s Kitchen” as well as three other popular shows. He also owns 23 restaurants. Rachael Ray isn’t far behind with the help of her cooking shows and daytime talk show, “The Rachael Show.”
Popular chefs such as Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri made the list for their income-producing activities outside of television with the sales of cookbooks and other merchandise helping to boost their bottom lines. One chef, Alain Ducasse, is not on television at all, but he holds his own among the top-earning heavyweights. Surprisingly, Giada de Laurentiis and Ina Garten didn’t make the list.
