A model walking down the Lenny Niemeyer catwalk during Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week looked slender and firm from the front but viewers were shocked to see what appeared when she turned to walk off of the runway. It has raised questions in the fashion community as to what type of standards the industry is creating. Experts believe the fact that models constantly starve themselves to maintain unattainable bodies, is the cause of their lack of muscle tone in areas with more fat (buttocks). The flesh becomes flabby and unflattering. Nobody is perfect. But when you put these creatures on display as the ideal for worldwide booty, A’hem.. we mean Beauty, we do not want to be offended or disgusted.
