For K. Michelle, being no-holds-barred and uncensored is just her natural way of life. Last year the brazen R&B singer unapologeticaaly revealed to the world that she’s been intimate with both women. And though many have claimed that K. Michelle is a lesbian, the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star recently decided to clarify the rumors about her sexuality.
The rumors all began last summer when K. Michelle released her mixtape, 0 F–ks Given, which featured the revealing song, “U Gonna Learn Today,” in which she sang about her sexual desire for women.
“I done been around the world/slept with some girls/smoked a little weed, but that don’t define me,” K. Michelle sang. “I know who I am and I’m not confused / But tonight she makes me wish I was a dude / I like your girlfriend / And I think she’s feeling me too.”
Despite her sex-drenched lyrics, K. Michelle recently denied being a lesbian.
“If i was gay i would be banging out Taylor Swift,” she tweeted after retweeting a fan who chastised MediaTakeOut for calling her a lesbian.
Somehow, we don’t doubt that K. Michelle would be out and proud, and unabashedly hitting on Taylor Swift and any other woman she found attractive if she defined herself as gay. And though she doesn’t see herself as gay — there really is no one drop rule to sexuality— we also don’t doubt that she will continue to do whatever she wants with whomever she wants in her bed — and then tell us about it in song.
