Olive oil is an excellent source of Vitamin E which is key for beautiful, healthy skin. Weekly use of olive oil will keep skin from becoming dry and help maintain its elasticity.

There’s more to avocados then just yummy guacamole. Avocado is a very beneficial oily food. The healthy fat found in avocados lowers cholesterol when eaten and keeps the skin moisturized when applied during a facial.


When olive oil and avocados are combined they make the perfect facial for those with dry skin. If you suffer from dry skin, try this facial a few times a week.

Olive Oil/Avocado mask


  • Mash one small ripe avocado with a half of cup of extra virgin olive oil. Mix until mixture has a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Apply to face and leave for 15 minutes
  • Rinse off by splashing lukewarm water to the face or in the shower
  • Pat face dry, repeat twice a week to reduce dry skin
