How did you determine your career path?
I have been working in entertainment as a performer and singer-songwriter for over 15 years. Years ago in 2002, after working with less-than-ideal partners, I decided to form my own music group and entrust people who I had closer relationships with-people who would be more accountable and invested than previous entertainment managers and producers. I started with the hope that this group could be the “engine” for my career and for others one day.
Define innovative methods you apply to your business and life.
Working on a thin budget to shoot a video or record and promote an album will certainly push you toward innovation. I am always trying to find new innovative methods to do business; sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. Putting out a product however is almost always an innovation.
What role does technology play in your daily life?
Technology is everything: website/content management, IP analytics, managing revenue streams, graphic design, and social media management. We work with FB and Dynamod as our main engines for online promotion … but they will soon change. We have to rotate and explore new technologies and applications, which may do a better job as our needs change.
Describe goal-setting methods you use and how you evaluate personal success.
I tend to like short-term goals better than long-term ones. … Let your long-term goal be the “fuzzy” vision in-view and your short-term goal be the “clearer” vision in-view.
Personal success is achieving “balance” in your life between business, money, savings, family, recreation, meditation and perspective. It’s very hard.

What does community mean to you? How does it influence your measure of success?
Community will get you through. You will need community to be successful in anything, especially in business. Don’t alienate people or push them away.
Where do you enjoy vacationing?
My home of St. Croix, USVI. Belize was also a great place.
If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Traditional thinking simply for tradition’s sake.
If you could change one thing about your self what would it be?
Not having enough rest. Not sleep, rest.
