“American Idol” season 12 hopefuls, Kree Harrison and Candice Glover brought their “A” game last night. Each sang three songs, one of their choice, a winner’s anthem, and a selection by “Idol” creator, Simon Fuller.
Glover slayed Adele’s “Chasing Pavements,” while Harrison opted for a softer record, “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan.
Judges Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson weighed in on the performances saying:
“This talent is so magnificent.” Both songs were a little sleepy, but Candice took this round.”
Kree’s coronation tune “All Cried Out,” fell a little short while Candice’s powerhouse vocal, “I Am Beautiful,” gave me goosebumps.
