On May 19, 2013, more than 500 men walked across the stage at Morehouse College to accept their degrees. This day was a little more extraordinary than most other days because the first black president of the United States spoke at the commencement of the historically black college on Malcolm X’s birthday. It was truly a great day for black men. But for one gentlemen in particular, Genarlow Wilson, it marked a triumph over a system that failed him.
