Kim Kardashian’s baby shower invites play Kanye West’s song
Kim Kardashian is preparing for a star-studded baby shower this weekend and has sent out very unique invitations. The socialite, is of course expecting her first child with her beau, Kanye West. While her June due date is quickly approaching, fans of both stars are getting their first glimpse at the shower invites dished out to VIP guests. TMZ got dibs on an invite to the celebration that takes place Saturday, May 25 at an undisclosed location.
The invite says it will be hosted by Kim’s mother Kris Jenner, her sisters Khloe and Kourtney and Shelli Azoff, the wife of manager Irving Azoff. Guests are encouraged to wear “garden chic” attire.
Most noticeable however is that the invitation is an actual music box complete with a replica of Kim Kardashian. The box plays an instrumental version of Kanye West’s “Hey Mama.”
So far, Kardashian fans are divided over the design with some saying they’re completely over the top and others praising Kim for the unique idea.
“I didn’t even know ballerina boxes were still made. No, she’s not over the top… not at all,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
“Say what you want about Kim Kardashian, but that b— knows how to do a baby shower invitation. #cute,” added another.
