Beyoncé, Oprah make Forbes’ ‘Most Powerful Women’ list
Forbes has released its 10th annual Power Women list ranking the most prolific ladies on the globe based on dollars, media momentum and impact. The mag selected 100 women who range from top politicians and CEOs to activist billionaires and celebrities.
Included in this year’s ranking is Beyoncé, who came in at number 17; and Oprah Winfrey, who ranked 13. This year the list features eight heads of state and 16 percent of them have founded their own companies. All of the ladies are also very popular on social media and have a combined Twitter following of 152 million.
