Ever wonder why guys lose weight faster than women? How often is it that you see a guy spend an hour on the treadmill or elliptical? Women tend to spend an hour on equipment such as a bike or treadmill and expect the fat to just disappear. Well, its not quite that simple. The reason the men are dropping weight faster is due to those dreaded weights. While the elliptical will burn hundreds of calories, it’s not necessarily burning fat. However, weight lifting is a sure way to burn fat while replacing it with lean muscle. Many women run from weights thinking they will get bulky like a guy, however, that is a myth. Women do not have enough testosterone to get buff like the fellas unless supplements are taken. So grab those dumb bells or kettle bells ladies and turn your body into a fat burning machine!
