Bill Duke, today
Though he has a thick resume of acclaimed acting, directing and producing, he is perhaps best known for his role alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator. These days Duke has produced the engrossing documentary, Dark Girls, about the preoccupation with melanin in the African American community. The docu-drama makes its debut on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN in June 2013. Duke, who was honored for his lifetime achievement at the American Black Film Festival in 2011 has also directed several films, most notably Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit and Hoodlum.
